What to do if LINE ERROR appears on Sharp Fax Machine?
    • W
      William SilvaAug 21, 2025
If you see a LINE ERROR on your Sharp Fax Machine, along with COM. E-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 in the transaction report, try the transaction again. Also, check the connection, ensuring the cord from the TEL. LINE jack to the wall jack is no longer than six feet. Make sure there are no modem devices sharing the same telephone line. You may also want to check with the other party to ensure their fax machine is working correctly and have your telephone line checked for noise. Try connecting your fax to a different telephone line. If the issue persists, your fax machine may need service.

Why are received images distorted on my Sharp UX-108?
    • A
      Amanda MossSep 4, 2025
If received images are distorted on your Sharp Fax Machine, noise on the telephone line may be the cause. Have the other party try sending the document again. The print head may also be dirty. Make a copy of another document; if the copy is also distorted, your fax may need servicing.
