Department entries (direct department entries)
Enter a unit price and press a department key. If you use a programmed unit price, press a department key
only.

• When using the department key 21 to 40, you need to press the

• When those departments for which the unit price has been programmed as zero (0) are entered,
only the sales quantity is added.
Department entries (indirect department entries)
The register provides a maximum of 99 departments for a merchandise classication. Group attributes, such
as taxable status, are applied to items when they are entered to the departments.
