8. Torquesettings
DANGER
Onlyuseappropriatetoolstotightenscrewsandbolts.Observe
thespeciedtorquesetting.Thecomponentmanufacturer'storque
settingstakeprecedence(whereavailable). Failure to comply can
result in screws/bolts becoming loose, tearing away or fracturing. If
that happens while you are riding the bike, components may come
o and you could have a severe crash. If screws are overtightened,
components can also be damaged. Tighten all screws and bolts
that are relevant for safety with a torque wrench. This indicates the
corresponding torque in newton metres (Nm).

torque settings from the following table.
