NOTE
Parameterization of the attributes necessary for the static preset via MF1 is
preferably done via the configuration assembly, which transmits all attributes to
the device when the system starts up. If no configuration assembly is used, corre‐
sponding function blocks can be used for explicit EtherNet/IP message services.
10.8.2 Triggering dynamic preset via cyclic I/O data of output assembly
1. Via the cyclic I/O data of the instance ID128 "Dyn. Preset" to specify the desired
distance output value at the initialization position. The value is entered via bits
0...29 of attribute 105: “Dynamic Preset” contained in the output assembly, see
table 25, page 55 or see table 36, page 61.
2. Drive the vehicle to the initialization position.
3. To trigger the preset: Set bit 31 to the value 1.
The rising edge 0→1 of bit 31 in attribute 105 “Dynamic Preset” sets the distance
output value to the initialization value specified via bits 0...29.
10.8.3 Triggering static preset via explicit EtherNet/IP message services
1. Drive the vehicle to the initialization position.
2. Enter the desired distance output value at the initialization position via attribute
19 “Preset Value”. Unit: mm
3. To trigger the preset: Set attribute 19 “Preset Value”.
Writing attribute 19 “Preset Value” sets the distance output value to the initializa‐
tion value contained in it.
NOTE
Resetting to the initialization value used the last time the preset was written is only
possible if the preset is reset first, see "Resetting preset / autozero", page 67.
10.8.4 Triggering autozero via explicit EtherNet/IP message services
If distance output value 0 mm is to be output at the initialization position, either a
preset can be performed to initialization value 0 mm using the methods specified in the
section 10.8.1- section 10.8.3, or the “Autozero” function can be used.
1. Drive the vehicle to the initialization position.
2. Trigger the autozero: To do so, set attribute 9 “Auto Zero” to value 0x01 via explicit
message services.
Writing the attribute 9 “Auto Zero” sets the distance output value to the initializa‐
tion value 0 mm.
10.8.5 Resetting preset / autozero
Resetting a previously set preset / autozero can either be done via the cyclic I/O data of
the output assembly or via explicit EtherNet/IP message services. During this process,
an existing distance offset from a previously performed preset / autozero is deleted
(distance offset = 0 mm) and permanently stored in the device.
b
Preset / Autozero via the cyclic I/O data of the output assembly "Dyn. “Preset”:
To do this, set bit 30 of attribute 105 “Dynamic Preset” contained in the output
assembly to the value 1. The rising edge 0 →1 resets a previously executed preset
or autozero (distance offset = 0 mm).
b
Reset preset / autozero via explicit EtherNet/IP message services: Set attribute
106 “Reset Preset / Offset” to value 0x01 via explicit message services. Writing
attribute 106 “Reset Preset / Offset” resets a previously performed preset or
autozero (distance offset = 0 mm).
