Terminate Button
Note Using the Terminate button results in the system losing sample tube
tracking information. When sample tubes are in the Centrifuge, this mean
that you must manually remove the samples and reroute them according
to their current status of spun or unspun.
The Terminate button occupies its own space on the Diagnostics window.
Selecting the Terminate button forces the Centrifuge module to
immediately transition to a white shutdown state. You can then transition
the Centrifuge to offline and then to online.
Scale Reading Area
Use the Scale Reading area to display the weight of objects on the scale in
the Centrifuge. Only select the Read Scale button when the Centrifuge
module is powered on and the Centrifuge is offline.
Gate Calibration Area
The buttons in the Gate Calibration area are only used by technical
support personnel to perform calibration tasks:
• Turn On Gate Calibration button toggles calibration on or off.
• Index Interface Gate button is enabled only when the technical
support provider selects the Turn On Gate Calibration button.
Maintenance
The 2 buttons in the Maintenance area allows you to monitor samples and
spin cycles for determining maintenance activities:
• Display Counters displays the following information:
○ Number of sample tubes processed.
○ Number of sample tubes processed at the time of the last E-stop.
○ Number of spin cycles completed.
○ Number of spin cycles completed at the time of the last E-stop.
○ The time of the last E-stop.
○ Number of spin cycles completed since the last maintenance was
performed.
