• The sample tube advances to the pick position where the system reads
the bar code and verifies that the sample requires centrifugation.
The interface gate tube holder straightens the tube.

• The robot picks the sample tube from the pick position at the Interface
Gate and moves it to a cassette on the scale.
• The robot continues picking sample tubes and placing sample tubes in
cassettes.
When the robot places a sample tube in the cassette, the system checks
the weight of the sample tube and cassette. If a spin is in progress, the
robot continues to place sample tubes into cassettes until the Hettich
unit becomes available or until the robot fills all available positions for
unspun sample tubes.
