Transport Base/Transport mode
• You can specify here whether voice encryption is to be activated or not
for calls.

• Only secure connections are possible if cipher mode is set on the
HiPath
4000. It is not possible in this case to operate the telephone in
TCP mode (Non Secure Mode). If cipher mode is active, you will
receive the message "Always activated?" when you query the status of
voice encryption.

Use Proxy
• Only on optiPoint 410/420 standard/advance in conjunction with a
display
module or application module.
• You can specify here whether or not a proxy is to be used.
• The proxy can be set in the web-based manager. Both the telephone
and the server have to be visible for the proxy in order to use a proxy.
