Application areas and performance
• Up to 8 axes can be implemented on an NCU 710.3B. The NCU 710.3B can be expanded by
up to 2 NX modules. One possible benet would be increased drive control performance.
• On the NCU 720.3B / 730.3B, the number of axes and/or the performance of the drive control
can be increased to 31 axes. This is achieved through the use of the NX modules. The
NCU 720.3B / 730.3B can be expanded by up to 5 NX modules for increased performance of
the drive control and number of axes.
• Use of an NCU 730.3B is recommended for maximum dynamic response and accuracy in
mold making or in the high-speed cutting sector
