Shipping backup batteries
Backup batteries may only be shipped in the original packaging. No special authorization is
required to ship backup batteries. The lithium content is approximately 300 mg.
Note
The backup battery is classied as a hazardous substance, Class 9, in accordance with the
relevant air-freight transportation regulations.
Storage of backup batteries
Always store backup batteries in a cool and dry place. The batteries have a maximum shelf life
of 10 years.
