Requirement
● If you want to restore the factory settings:
The HMI device is connected in accordance with "Connecting the configuration PC
(Page 50)".
Procedure
1. Open the "OP Properties" dialog using the "OP" icon.
2. Change to the "Device" tab.
3. Click the "Reboot" button.
The following dialog appears:
Button for restoring factory settings and subsequent restart
4. Press one of the following buttons:
– "Reboot": Restart the HMI device immediately.
– "Prepare for Reset": Reset the HMI device to factory settings.
Press "Prepare for Reset" to delete the operating system and project data.
Restore the operating system as described in the section
"Updating the operating system (Page 139)".
– "No": Do not perform a restart, close the dialog.
