6.5.2.1 SS1 basic function
Select SS1
Function
1. The higher-level control selects the SS1 function via a fail-safe digital input or via
PROFIsafe safe communication.
2. If the motor is switched on when SS1 is selected, the inverter brakes the motor with the
OFF3 ramp-down time.
3. After the delay time, the inverter safely switches off the motor torque with the STO safety
function.
