5.12.1.2 Setting the forced dormant error detection (test stop)
Precondition
You are online with STARTER or Startdrive.
Procedure with STARTER
To set the forced checking procedure (test stop) of the extended functions, proceed as follows:
1. Select the “Configuration“ button:

Set the following:
(A) This signal starts the forced checking procedure (test stop) and sets the remaining
time of the monitoring to the value (C). Interconnect this signal, for example, with a digital
input or a bit in the fieldbus control word.
(B) With this signal, you must carry out a forced checking procedure (test stop) as soon
as possible. Interconnect this signal, for example with a digital output of your choice or
a status bit in the fieldbus.
(C) Time up to the next test stop.
(D) This entry field is only visible if you selected PROFIsafe as interface.

2. Close the screen form.

