The SBC function is defined in IEC/EN 61800-5-2:
"The SBC function supplies a safe output signal to control an external brake."

After a hoisting gear stops, the inverter must close
the brake in order to minimize the risk of the load
falling.
● Connect the motor holding brake to the
inverter via Safe Brake Relay.
● Select STO when the drive stops.
