6.3 Combining Several Shipping Splits
Prerequisites
Before combining the transport units, adhere to the transport instructions.
Refer to the interconnection drawing and instructions provided with the SINAMICS Perfect
Harmony GH180 drive. Required hardware and assembly material are provided for mechanical
interconnections. Electrical interconnections are also identied on the interconnection drawing.
All electrical connections can be made by front access only.
For installations with no rear access, Siemens recommends connecting the shipping splits
before the VFD is installed in the nal location.
Procedure
1. Remove hardware for rear panels.
2. Remove the rear panels.
3. Position the power cell cabinet, the transformer cabinet, and the input cabinet (if provided)
next to each other.
4. Connect the shipping splits together using the provided hardware.
5. Re-install rear panels.
6. Move the VFD into place.
