To remove the 󹪝lter media, simply pull it away from the frame.
Replacing Filter Media
• After replacing the 󹪝lter media, carefully place and align the 󹪝lter cover to the 󹪝lter frame that
is attached to the VFD.
• Gently push the 󹪝lter cover onto the frame to latch it in place.
Cleaning the Filter
• Depending on the type of contamination, shake the dust from the 󹪝lter, vacuum clean them
or wash them. If the 󹪝lter is highly contaminated, dispose of it properly, and replace the 󹪝lter.
Note
Do not use pressurized equipment to clean the 󹪝lters in the door!
The 󹪝lter mats are made of polyester 󹪝ber and must not be cleaned using pressurized equipment
(e.g. with water jet or compressed air), since this can damage the 󹪝lter mats and render them
ine󹪜ective.
Note
Drives with M58 option code do not have 󹪝lters.
