4.2.17 Synchronous spindle G201/G202
Preconditions for executing the function G201
The ”Synchronous spindle” Option must be set. The alarm ”Option not available” is
issued if this is not the case.
The interface signal INTERLOCK SYNCHRONOUS OPERATION must not be set.
The leading and following spindle must be synchronized with their encoders. The interface
signal SERVO ENABLE must be set for both spindles.
Both spindles must be assigned to the same channel (DB 31).
Additional preconditions for the submode ”With defined angle offset”
The angle must be located within the range from 0 to 359.99 degrees. The alarm
”Incorrect angle value” is issued if this is not the case.
The setting data bit ”FS overlay On” must be set (SD 500x, bit 2, x=4, 6, 8 for
FS 1, 2, 3). The alarm ”FA x overlay inhibited” (x=1, 2, 3 for FS 1, 2, 3) is issued if this
not the case.
The setting data bit ”Acceleration limitation synchronous” should be set (SD 500x, bit 2;
x=4, 6, 8 for FS 1, 2, 3). This ensures the defined angle offset to be retained even after
acceleration and braking operations.
