itwillstarttooverwritetheoldestdata,thuscreatinga"ringbuffer".These
imagescanberecalledusingtheHistoryinformationpane.Theinformationin
theHistorypresentationisthesameasontheoriginalechogrampresentation.Toopen
theHistoryinformationpane,selectthebuttononthetopbar.
•UseRecordProcessedontheOperationmenutorecordprocesseddata.Thisisonlyan
exportformat.ProcesseddatalescannotbeplayedbackontheEK80.
Note
Thedataleswillnormallybecomeverylarge.Ifyouwishtorecordlargeamountsof
EK80data,makesurethatyouhaveenoughspaceonyourharddisk.Unlessyour
ProcessorUnitisequippedwithaverylargedisk,werecommendthatyousavethe
datatoanexternalstoragedevice.
OntheEK80youcanrecordbothRAWandprocesseddatausingtheRecordRAWand
RecordProcessedfunctions.Itmaybeusefultosynchronizethesetwofunctionsto
automaticallyrecordalldataformatssimultaneously.Tosynchronizetherecording
functions,opentheRecordRAWbutton,andsetSynchronizetoOn.TheRecordProcessed
buttonistheninhibited,andyoucanstartandstopallrecordingbymeansoftheRecord
RAWbutton.

1MakesurethattheRecordProcessedfunctionisavailable.
IftheRecordProcessedfunctionisunavailable,itismostlikelybecauseyouhave
forgottentospecifyanoutputformat.UseProcessedDatatoFiletodenewhich
processeddataformatstosave,andwheretoplacetheles.Thispageislocatedin
theOutputdialogbox.
