Own ship
Own ship setup
This dialog is used for defining the CCRP and GPS sensors position.
CCRP
- Sets the approximate location for the common reference point. This is the ship’s bridge
and location of the radar operator. With the radar antenna position also defined, the
radar can calculate the bearing and distance of radar targets relative to the CCRP.
GPS Sensor
- Sets the approximate location for the primary GPS position sensor. This is relevant to
correct positioning of AIS targets on the PPI.
MMSI
Set the vessel’s own MMSI number. This prevents the vessel being identified as an AIS target
on own display.
