NEEDLE THREADER
Theneedlemustbeintheuppositiontousethebuilt-inneedle
threader.Wealsorecommendloweringthepresserfoot.
1. Usethehandletopulltheneedlethreaderalltheway
down,catchingthethreadundertheguide(A).
2. Pushbacktobringtheneedlethreaderforwarduntilthe
metalangescovertheneedle.Asmallhookwillpass
throughtheneedleeye(B).
3. Placethethreadundertheangesinfrontoftheneedle,so
thethreadcatchesintothesmallhook(C).
4. Lettheneedlethreadergentlyswingback.Thehookpulls
thethreadthroughtheneedleeyeandformsaloopbehind
the needle.
5. Pullthethreadloopoutbehindtheneedle.
Note: The needle threader is designed to be used for size 70-
110 needles. You cannot use the needle threader for size 60
needles or smaller.
When threading the needle manually, make sure that the needle
isthreadedfromfronttoback.Thewhitepresserfootankle
makesiteasytoseetheeyeoftheneedle.Thebobbincase
covercanbeusedasamagnifyingglass.
CUTTING THE THREAD
Onceyouhavenishedembroidering,thethreadsarecut
automaticallybytheselectivethreadcutter.
Ifyouwanttocutthethreadsmanually,youmustrstdeselect
SelectiveThreadCutterAutointheEmbroiderySettings,see
page3:6.Then,presstheselectivethreadcutterbutton(1)on
the machine to cut the threads.
Alternatively,youcanusethethreadcutterontheleftsideof
themachine.Pullthethreadsfromthefronttothebackintothe
threadcutterontheleftsideofthemachine.
