OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
NOTICE
Measure the temperature of the electrolyte. If
it exceeds 45°C wait for the battery to cool be-
fore proceeding to the following steps.
2. Completely power off the machine.
3. Connect the plug between the battery and the
charger cable. If the machine is equipped with an
automatic liquid refilling system, ensure that the re-
filling pipe is connected.
4. Connect the battery charger to a grounded AC cir-
cuit. The indicator light will illuminate steadily once
the battery is fully charged.
5. After charging is complete, disconnect the cable
plug from the battery to the charger.
Charging maintenance-free batteries
1. Check the battery level on the display of the ground
controls. When the battery level is ≤20%, the low
battery alarm will be triggered, and the battery re-
quires immediate charging. To avoid affecting the
normal performance of the machine it is recom-
mended to charge the battery when the battery level
is below 30%.
2. Completely power off the machine.
3. Connect the battery charger to a grounded AC cir-
cuit. The indicator light will illuminate steadily once
the battery is fully charged.
4. After charging is complete, disconnect the cable
plug from the battery to the charger.
Harness Connection
Charging with 16A cable (slow charging):
Connect a 16A adapter cable to the machine’s charging
port and to a 220 VAC/110 VAC mains supply.
• The input voltage of the power source and the rated
power of protective devices such as fuses/circuit
breakers on the supply side shall be as follows:

• Please refer to the following table to determine the
appropriate wire diameter and length of the charging
cable;

• The socket for the charger plug needs to be wired in
strict accordance with the model requirements in the
figure below; the rated parameters of the socket
must be 220 VAC-16 A-3 kW or 110 VAC-16 A-1.5
kW.
Charging with 32 A cable (fast charging):
1. Connect 32A adapter cable to the machine’s charg-
ing port and connect it to a 220 VAC (380 VAC)/110
VAC (210 VAC) mains supply. Only industrial-type
plugs may be used.
2. Locate the fast charging mode button on the side of
the battery compartment (left side of the machine),
press and hold the button for 3 sec to activate the
fast charging mode.
3. Once the power is disconnected the machine will re-
vert automatically to the slow charging mode.
Note: For machines with a reach of less than 26 m the
fast charging function is only available for lithium
batteries.
