a) The function speed depends on the start and end
point of the movement rather than the controls/
switches.
b) The test results of drive speed vary with tires of
different specifications.
c) All the speed tests should be conducted from the
platform controller. The test results will differ if tested
from the ground controller.
d) All the tests should be conducted with the
hydraulic oil temperature higher than 50～60℃ (122
～140℉). If the hydraulic oil temperature is too low,
the test results will be affected.
Test requirements:
Raise/lower the main boom : With the main boom fully
retracted, raise the main boom from the lowest to the
highest and lower the main boom from the highest to the
lowest for two times.
Rotate the turntable : With the boom centered, rotate
the turntable through two full cycles.
Extend/retract the main boom : With the main boom
fully raised, extend the main boom from fully retracted to
fully extended position, and retract the main boom from
fully extended to fully retracted position. Test twice.
Rotate the platform : With the platform horizontal, ro-
tate the platform from the leftmost to the rightmost, and
rotate the platform from the rightmost to the leftmost.
Test twice.
Raise/lower the jib : With the platform horizontal, raise
the jib boom from the lowest to the highest, and lower
the jib boom from the highest to the lowest. Test twice.
Drive-stowed : With the machine on level surface,
switch to high engine speed and high drive speed, and
push the drive handle to maximum travel distance to
drive forward and reverse for 30m respectively. Test
twice.
Drive-operating : With the machine on level surface,
switch to high engine speed, and push the drive handle
to maximum travel distance to drive forward and reverse
for 30m respectively. Test twice.
Brake distance : With the machine on level surface,
switch to high engine speed, and push the drive handle
to maximum travel distance.
3.4 WEIGHT OF MAJOR
COMPONENTS
• Never attempt to move heavy components
without the assistance of mechanical
equipment.
• It is forbidden to place heavy components in
an unstable position.
