Disassembly
1. Adjust the boom tube to fully retracted position and
slightly raise the main boom to horizontal position.
2. Remove the cover plate from the head of the main
boom (near the turntable).
3. Use suitable lifting equipment to support the boom
tube.
4. Mark and disconnect the hydraulic pipelines on the
telescopic cylinder and collect the hydraulic oil in
the pipelines with a suitable vessel. Then seal the
pipelines and ports.
5. Remove the bolt at position #1 that secures the ex-
tending wire rope to the base boom.
6. Remove the bolt at position #2 that secures the tele-
scopic cylinder to the base boom, and remove the
stopper and gasket there.
7. Remove the bolt at position #3 that secures the tele-
scopic cylinder to the first telescopic boom, and re-
move the stopper and gasket there.
8. Remove the bolt at position #4 that secures the ex-
tending wire rope to the second telescopic boom.
9. Use suitable lifting equipment to support the front
end of the telescopic cylinder and carefully and
slowly pull the cylinder along with the extending wire
rope out of the main boom head.
NOTICE
When pulling the telescopic cylinder out of the
main boom, take extra care to avoid damaging
other parts of the boom tube.
10. Before the telescopic cylinder is fully pulled out of
the main boom, adjust the lifting equipment to pro-
vide sufficient support for the entire cylinder.
11. With the assistance of the lifting equipment, slowly
remove the cylinder from the main boom and care-
fully place it on a suitable support.
Installation
Follow the reverse order of the disassembly procedures.
