Clean the fuel pre-filter:

1. Cup
2. Closed
3. Fuel cock
4. Drain plug
5. Retaining ring

1. Place an appropriate oil-collecting container under
the cup.
2. Close the fuel cock.
3. Loosen the drain plug to allow the liquid to flow out
completely.
4. Turn the retaining ring to the left and remove the
cup. If equipped, disconnect the sensor wire from
the cup before removing the cup.
5. Carefully hold the cup to prevent fuel from spilling.
6. Remove the float ring from the cup. Pour the con-
taminants into the container and dispose of it
properly.
7. Clean the element and inside cup. Replace the ele-
ment if it is damaged.
8. Install the element and O-ring in the bracket.
9. Position the float ring in the cup.
10. Check the condition of the O-ring. Replace it if
necessary.
11. Install the cup to the bracket by tightening the retain-
ing ring to the right.
12. Close the drain plug. Reconnect the sensor wire if
equipped.
13. Open the fuel cock.
14. Prime the fuel system.
15. Check for fuel leaks.
Lubrication System
Check the Engine Oil Level
1. Turn off the engine.
2. Make sure that the machine and engine are
horizontal.
3. Remove the oil dipstick from the engine and wipe
the dipstick with non-fiber cleaning cloths.
4. Put the clean dipstick back to its original position.
5. Remove the dipstick again and check the oil level,
which should be between the FULL (HOT) mark and
LOW (COLD) mark on the dipstick.
6. If necessary, fill with correct engine oil to the FULL
(HOT) mark on the dipstick according to the Oil Re-
quirements , and do not overfill the tank.
