7, Swing Arm
Remove both shock/springs, strap axle, long spac-
er then M14 screws.
When assembling, both arms must run parallel.
Tighten nuts to 48 N•m (35 lbf•ft).
1. Parallel
A. 48 N•m (35 lbf•ft)
Install large washers with their concave side to-
ward swing arm. Apply Loctite 271 on M14 screw
threads and tighten to 135 N•m (100 lbf•ft).
1. Concave side
A. 135 N•m (100 lbf•ft)
9, Rail
Remove swing arm.
Remove swing arm lower axle, bushing and long
spacer.
1. Swing arm lower axle
2. Bushing
3. Long spacer
Remove outer idler wheels. Note position of spac-
er for reassembling.
