Section 5 – ProceduresMast Lubrication

5.6-2 Inner Mast Lubrication

1. Use the base controls to retract the mast almost

completely.

2. Turn the main disconnect switch to the off

position.

3. Enter the platform.

4. Remove and set aside the top mast cover and

wing screws.

5. Apply DuPont Multi-Use Lubricant (158692) or

any PTFE wax based dry lubricant, behind and

around all top wear pads in each section of the

mast.

6. Exit the platform.

7. Use the base controls to fully raise and lower the

platform three times to spread the lubricant.

8. Install the the top cover and wing screws onto the

top of the mast.
