Section 5 – Procedures Wear Pad Replacement
4. Remove and discard the rear wear pads and
thread rolling screws at the bottom of the mast.
5. Remove and discard the pop rivets and front
wear pads at the bottom of the mast.
CAUTION
Crush hazard. Personnel on the ground must stay
away from the mast while it is being moved.
Make sure the wear pads are dry and do not have
lubricant before you raise the mast.
If you do not obey, there is a risk of minor or
moderate injury.
6. Remove mast 4 completely and set it aside on a
protective surface.
7. Repeat steps 1 through 6 with the remaining
masts until there is only one mast left.
