Procedure:
• Check whether the status LED of the SunnyHomeManager is flashing intermittently green
and orange after approximately two minutes.
☑ The status LED is intermittently flashing green and orange. There is a connection to
SunnyPortal. You can register the SunnyHomeManager in SunnyPortal (see
Section8.3, page53).
✖ The status LED is continuously flashing red?
The SunnyHomeManager cannot establish the connection to SunnyPortal automatically.
This is the case, forexample, if there is a proxy server in your network or if your router
does not support DHCP.
• Use the SunnyHomeManagerAssistant (see Section10.4, page73).
8.3 Registering in SunnyPortal
SunnyPortal serves as the user interface of the SunnyHomeManager. Therefore, you must register
the SunnyHomeManager in SunnyPortal.
Requirements:
☐ All Plugwise devices must be commissioned (see Section5.1, page34).
☐ The Plugwise radio-controlled sockets must have been detected by the SunnyHomeManager
(see Section8.1, page52).
☐ The status LED of the SunnyHomeManager must be intermittently flashing green and orange
(see Section8.2, page52).
☐ The same NetID must be set for all BLUETOOTH devices.
☐ The Speedwire devices must be in operation and connected to the SunnyHomeManager via
a router/network switch.
☐ NetID 0 must be set for Speedwire devices with integrated BLUETOOTH interface.
☐ The system must be in operation.
Procedure:
1. Start the PV System Setup Assistant.
2. Register as a new user in SunnyPortal.
or
Log in to SunnyPortal as an existing user.
3. Create a SunnyHomeManager system in SunnyPortal.
4. Configure the energy meters.
5. Enter the system data.
Tip: If you have SMAradio-controlled sockets, insert these into outlets and configure the NetID
of the PV system (see Section5.2.3, page35). This will enable you to register the SMAradio-
controlled sockets together with the SunnyHomeManager.
