4. The slots on the footstand for the various cables can also be used when the phone is mounted on
the wall. After connecting the phone, form the cables into loops and gently press the long ends into
the slots on the footstand. The loops should not be too big, so that they will not hamper the secure
mounting of the phone on the wall, and not too small, so that the cables will not be bent or broken
(Fig. 4).

Note:
To hold the receiver securely in the upright position, we recommend that you rotate the
tab of the cradle 180° so that its tip protrudes slightly above the edge of the cradle (see
"Rotating the tab of the cradle" on page 11). The small rectangular hole in the receiver
casing fits perfectly over the now protruding tip.
