Reconnecting a Paired Headset
When the connection to the headset has been severed, the phone will attempt to reconnect with the
headset:
◦ Every 10 seconds during the first 10 minutes. Please note that reconnecting may take a little
longer than 10 seconds if the connection cannot be established immediately.
◦ Every 60 seconds if the phone could not establish a connection within the first 10 minutes of
trying.
Note: The headset may also try to reconnect to the phone.
Reconnecting manually
If automatic reconnection is unsuccessful or if you do not want to wait for it, you can also use the manual
method.
1. Open the phone‘s Settings menu -> 1 Preferences -> 7 Bluetooth.
2. If necessary, use the down-arrow on the navigation key
to select the headset in the list of
paired devices (Fig. 6), and press the OK key
.
Using a Bluetooth Headset with the Snom Phone
Please, also consult the headset‘s manual for more information on how to use it. The headset behavior
described in the following description applies to three tested headsets with the firmware on the
headsets and the phone at the time. The behavior with other firmwares and other headsets may be
dierent.
Selecting Ringer Device for Incoming Calls
Use the web user interface of the phone to select whether you want incoming calls to ring on the phone,
on the headset, or on both.
Note: To be able to accept calls on the headset, the phone must be running headset mode
(see next section "Turning on Headset BT Mode"). You can accept calls directly on the
headset or via the phone regardless of the selected ringer device.
Open the phone's web user interface -> Preferences, section General Information / Ringtone Defaults
and select one of the following settings from the drop-down menu of Ringer Device for Headset:
◦ Use Speaker. Incoming calls ring on the casing speaker of the phone.
◦ Use Headset. Incoming calls ring on the headset only.
◦ Use Headset and Speaker. Incoming calls ring on the casing speaker of the phone and on the
headset.
