Attaching an Infusion Stand
8.7 Attaching an Infusion Stand
Please note that a reducing adaptor is re-
quired in order to use the infusion stand. The
reducing adaptor is inserted into the reducing
adaptor for the patient lifting pole.
Insert the reducing adaptor for the infusion
stand into the first reducing adaptor at the
head end of the bed
(see also Chapter 6.5.10.2)
Insert the long, straight end of the infusion
stand into the adaptor sleeve containing the
two reducing adaptors.
8.8 Using Universal Holders
Two universal holders have been attached at the head end on both long sides of the bed. A variety
of accessories such as urine bottle holders and drainage bags can be attached to the universal
holders.
Risk of Crushing
Ensure that patients or other peo-
ple are not endangered by univer-
sal holders, such as when moving
the bed.
When the bed is moved, ensure that
objects hanging in the universal holders
do not cause any damage (e.g. to door
frames).
Ensure that the attached accessories do
not collide with the foot pedal area. Slide
the universal holders away accordingly.
Observe the following weight limits:
The universal holders must not hold a
weight of more than 5 kg (acting verti-
cally)!
