Prepare the truck for maintenance and repairs
All necessary safety measures must be taken
to avoid accidents when carrying out mainte-
nance and repairs. The following preparations
must be made:

– The following preparations must be made:
Park the truck securely ( Parking the truck
securely ).
– Remove the key to prevent the truck from
accidentally starting.
– When working under a raised lift truck, se-
cure it to prevent it from tipping or sliding
away.
Open the cover
– Remove the five screws (1).
– Carefully open the cover (2) up.

