Battery maintenance
Do not deep charge battery:
– If you discharge the energy of battery com-
pletely till the trucks do not move any more,
you will shorten the life time of the battery.
– As soon as the signal for charging appears
that is no more lifting or reduced travelling
speed, please charge it immediately.
Battery maintenance:
The battery cell covers must be kept dry and
clean. The terminals and cable shoes must
be clean, secure this with a light coating of
dielectric grease. Batteries with non insulated
terminals must be covered with a non slip in-
sulation mat.
Battery Disposal
Batteries must only be disposed of as stipu-
lated in the national environmental protection
regulations or waste disposal provisions. The
battery manufacture’s specifications for the
disposal must be followed.
Cleaning the battery
– Do not use dry cloth or fire cloth to clean
the battery to prevent static charging and
prevent explosion.
– Unfix battery plug.
– Clean with wet cloth.
– Wear glasses to protect eyes, wear rubber
overshoes and rubber gloves.
