1. In case of a 64-bit operation system, you need to install 'lib32ncurses5'.
For 32-bit operation systems this step can be skipped.
To install the library via command line use:
sudo apt-get install lib32ncurses5
2. Check the Code::Blocks Compiler Settings.
The CodeBlocks "Compiler Settings" have to look like this:
