5. TRAVEL
5.1 TRAVELLING OPERATION
1. Set the “Travel/Rock Drilling Changeover Switch” to the travel position;
2. Push the pilot lever to travel the drilling rig (the operation should be gently to avoid
the violent action of the machine, such as steering)
3. High-speed mode can be used when travelling on level ground. Change the
“Travel/Rock Drilling” changeover switch to “High –speed Travelling” when
parking or stopping.
Note ： Before travelling, drill frame
should be lifted above the ground at
least 0.5m. If the ground is not flat,
the lifting height should be over
than 1m; besides, surrounded
equipment and people should be
observed to prevent safety accidents;
Watch the high pressure lines
overhead and adjust the feeding
height in time; always follow the
traffic rules to ensure safety.
Turning should be avoided as
possible as it could be while reversing
to protect the travel mechanism.
