7.1.7 Inspection after Maintenance
Accidents many occur to cause the serious hurt or damage if inspection is not done after
maintenance. Thus, inspections must be done as following procedures:
Inspection after checking and maintenance (while engine stops)
The parts have been checked or maintained?
All the inspection and maintaining items have been done correctly?
Any tool or part has been forgotten in the machine? If so, that’s very dangerous.
Any leakage of water or oil? All the bolts have been fastened as the regulated torque?
Inspection while operating the engine
The inspection for operating the engine should comply with the requirements that two
persons are needed for maintenance while the engine is running, meanwhile, pay
attention to safety.
All the inspection and maintaining items are operated correctly?
Check for oil leakage while the engine speeds up and hydraulic system is loaded.
7.1.8 Maintenance for Electrical System
It’s very dangerous that the electrical device is affected with damp or the insulating
layer of wire is damaged, these may cause electrical leakage and lead to machine
failure.
Do not flush the cab interior with water.
Don’t let water enter into the electrical parts while flushing the machine.
The maintenance of electrical system is to check the tension of engine fan belt, whether
it’s damaged or wore out, and check the liquid level of battery.
Do not install any other electrical elements beyond regulation.
The electrical system should be cleaned seriously to prevent rust while working on the
seaside.
