THE ANTI-TIPPING SYSTEM DESCRIBED IN THESE
SECTIONS WORKS EFFICIENTLY WHEN THE MACHI-
NE OPERATES ON GROUNDS WITH A MODERATE
GRADIENT. AT STEEP GRADIENTS COMBINATION
OF TRANSVERSE AND LONGITUDINAL MOVEMENTS
REDUCES RELIABILITY SYSTEM. IN CASES, SAFETY
VERY MUCH RELIES CORRECT OPERATION BY SKIL-
LED, QUALIFIED CONSCIOUS OPERATORS.
41) Battery on/off key on engine hood left-hand side (access
from door) (41 Fig. 33). When the key is in “A” position,
the batteries are off; when the key is turned by 45° to the
right (pos. “B”), the batteries are on.
42) Drive stop lever (42 Fig. 34). When the lever is all the way
up in position “A”, the drive does not work, and the diesel
engine can be started.
When the lever is all the way down in position “B”, the
drive works, but the diesel engine cannot be started if the
machine is off.
WARNING
Always bring the lever to position “A” before leaving the
control station.
