• Apply THREAD LOCK SUPER to the bolts, and then tighten
them to the specified torque.
# Starter clutch bolt: 25 N·m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.0 lb-ft)
* 99000-32030: THREAD LOCK SUPER “1303”
or equivalent
OIL PUMP
REMOVAL
• Remove the oil pump assembly
1 with oil return pump.
DISASSEMBLY
• Remove the oil return pump outer rotor
1, inner rotor
2 and
pin
3.
INSPECTION
• Rotate the oil pump by hand and check that it moves
smoothly.
• If it does not move smoothly, replace the oil pump assembly.

• Inspect the outer rotor
1 and inner rotor
2 for any scratches
or other damage. If any damages are found, replace them
with new ones.
* Do not attempt to disassemble the oil pump assem-
bly.
* The oil pump is available only as an assembly.
