e) Pull brake drum (1) off by hand.
If it is hard to remove, use special tools.

6) Remove sensor ring (1) from brake drum (2) using special
tool (if equipped with ABS).

Installation
1) Install new sensor ring (1) to brake drum (2) by using special
tool and hydraulic press (3) (if equipped with ABS).

2) Before installing brake drum, check outer diameter “a” of
brake shoes. If it is not within value as specified below, adjust
it to specification by turning adjuster.
NOTE:
When drum is removed, visually inspect wheel cylinder
for brake fluid leakage. Correct leaky point if any.
CAUTION:
Pull out sensor ring from brake drum gradually and
evenly. Attempt to pull it out partially may cause it to be
deformed.
CAUTION:
• Do not reuse (reinstall) removed sensor ring.
• Used sensor ring can not be press-fitted securely.
