Initial Provisioning

ICS command:
Type
CLK AR ON, then press Enter.
TL1 command:
SET-CLK-AR:::123::ON;
4. Assign a name, if desired, to the SSU-2000e. You can assign a [name] of up to
20 characters, starting with a letter; the name is returned as the
tid in
responses from the unit.
ICS command:
Type
NAME [name], then press Enter.
TL1 command:
SET-NAME:S1A2::123::[name];
You can also use this command to assign a name to inputs and outputs by
specifying the module address the format SyAx[-z], where y is the shelf number,
x is the slot number, and z is the port.
Adding or Enabling a Module
Use this procedure when replacing one type of module with a different type of
module in the same slot. The following example procedure adds a Clock module to
shelf 1, slot 12.
1. Insert the module into slot 12 of the main shelf.
2. Log into the SSU-2000e using the procedure in Logging In to the SSU-2000e, on
page 102.
3. Enable the module:
ICS command:
Type
config 1A12 enable and press Enter.
TL1 command:
ACT-MODULE::S1A12:123;
4. Verify that the module is registered:
ICS command:
Type
config and press Enter.
TL1 command:
RTRV-INV:::123;
5. Log off the SSU-2000e when you’re finished.
