10 Radio Controls and Indicators
SCAN Scan Indicator Your radio is sampling each of a
group of channels for any activity.
When it detects traffic on a chan-
nel, scanning halts on the active
channel.
WAIT Wait Indicator The channel you are using is busy
and your call has been deferred
to a queue. The radio indicates
the channel is available with a
beep.

Scrolling is available and you are
able to use the up and down
scroll keys ( / ) to
move through a list of options. To
select an option, press the enter
key ( ).
