Accessing the call queue
1 Use the scroll keys or to move through the calls in
the call queue until the call you want appears.
2 Press Options to open the Call Queue
Options menu.
The options available for the call depend
on the type of call it is. If the call is a
voice call, select Call to return the call or
Delete to delete the call.
If the call is a status message or a text
message, then select View to read the
message.
Changing your call queuing setting
Your radio may be programmed so that you are able to
change call queuing to “unanswered”. Unanswered call
queuing means that all status and text messages are immedi-
ately queued. Incoming voice calls are only queued if they
are unanswered.
If your radio has a keypad microphone installed, you may be
able to change your call queuing setting using the keypad. For
information about entering characters using the keypad
microphone, see “About the keypad microphone” on page 5.
To activate call queuing:
select Menu>Radio settings>Call settings>Call queuing
and choose On, or
dial *48 then press the or PTT key.
The message Call queuing activated appears.
To change call queuing to unanswered call queuing:
select Menu>Radio settings>Call settings>Call queuing
and choose Off, or
dial #48 then press the or PTT key.
The message Call queuing deactivated appears.
