6.7 DISASSEMBLING BRAKE
6.7.1 DISASSEMBLING BRAKE KNOB

1. Back off the knob (a)
and remove the rubber
bellow (b) from the bottom.
2. Remove the protection guard (c)
, as detailed
at Figure 6.4-1.

3. Press on the brake knob downward.
4. Loosen the counter-nut (d) and the nut (e)
using two 17mm wrench, and remove them.
5. Remove the pawl (f)
backing it off from the
brake pin.

During reassembly, refer to the
sequence indicated in the figure at the
side.
At the end of the reassembling carry out
the adjusting procedure detailed at
paragraph: 7.6“

resistance”.
