Looking at a Noisy Signal
The signal appears noisy and you suspect that noise i s causing
problems i n your circuit. To bet ter analyze the noise, do these steps:
1. Push the acquire MENU button.
2. Select the Peak Detect acquisition mode.
3. Increase the WAVEFORM INTENSITY control to see the noise
more easily.
Peak detect emphasizes noise spikes and glitches in your signal as
narrow as 1 ns, even when the time base is set to a slow setting.
