Operation
Speaker Setup in C-Soft
Initially, the ADHB-4’s speakers are set up, by default, to route selected audio to speaker 1 and route all unselected speaker
audio to speaker 2.
Unselect Audio
Unselect audio can be configured from the console position to route through speakers other than the default. Select audio is
always routed to speaker 1.
One (1) of two (2) methods can be used to change the unselect speaker audio:
• With the Per Line Unselect window, see “Per Line Unselect Window” on page 67.
• With the ADHB-4 Global window, see “ADHB-4 Global Window” on page 69.
Per Line Unselect Window
The Per Line Unselect window is accessed by right-clicking the line’s select button on the console. Once the window appears,
you can choose speaker(s) to route Unselect audio through.
The default for this window is Speaker 1, Unselect, Speakers 2–6 Unselect.
Speaker 2–6 Radio Buttons
The Speaker 2–6 radio buttons are used to set one (1) Unselect positional speaker for the line’s audio.
Positional + Speaker 2 Check Box
The Positional + Speaker 2 check box is used to set one (1) Unselect positional speaker plus speaker 2 for the line’s audio.
This setting also applies to recording unselect audio.
If this check box is selected, a positional speaker (3–6) and speaker 2 are used to play/record audio and the single speaker icon,
shown in Figure 30, appears on the line’s Select button.
If this check box is not selected, speaker 2 is used to play/record audio and the Common Unselect speaker icon, shown in
Figure 30, appears on the line’s Select button.
