8.12 Excavator installation not working
1 Toggle switch for working hydraulics set
to “OFF”
Set to “ON”
2 Left-hand armrest control panel lifted or
switch defective
Check, repair or replace if necessary
3 Oil supply to hydraulic pump interrupted Check lines
4 Hydraulic pump has failed Have hydraulic pump checked by a specialist and
replace, if necessary
5 Main relief valves have failed Check main relief valves and replace, if
necessary
6 Maintenance ladder folded in Fold up maintenance ladder
7 Switch on the maintenance ladder
defective
Repair or replace if necessary
8.13 Decrease in machine's performance
1 Insufficient engine power Check diesel engine
2 Hydraulic oil level too low Top up hydraulic oil to the mark
3 Pump is sucking up air Re-tighten hose connections. Replace O-ring or
seals
4 Insufficient operating pressure Readjust main relief valves (pressure cut-off) or
replace if required
8.14 Machine working too slowly and hydraulic oil is becoming too hot
1 Main relief valves (pressure cut-off) set
too low or valves are damaged
Readjust main relief valves (pressure cut-off) or
replace if required
2 Impermissible degree of wear of hydraulic
pump
Replace hydraulic pump
3 Hydraulic oil level too low Top up hydraulic oil to the mark
4 Incorrect hydraulic oil Quality of hydraulic oil must conform to our
recommendation
5 Air in hydraulic system Tighten connections with engine off and system
relieved of pressure
6 Oil cooler dirty or damaged Clean, check and replace if necessary
