7.9.5 Air filter, air intake
All maintenance work on the air intake
system must be carried out with the
engine off.
Do not start the engine after the filter
cartridge has been removed.
Preparing machine for maintenance
• Swing upper carriage out of travel direction
approx. 75° to the right (fig. 66).
• Align the work attachment with the
uppercarriage and lower the work attachment
onto the ground.
• Stop the engine.
• Open the engine hood.
• Hold fast with the left hand on frame (66/1)
above the installed headlight and climb on the
ascent on the under carriage
• Hold tight with the right hand on the support
handle (66/2) and step onto the upper stage of
the ascent.
• The air filter cartridge (66/3) can be changed
while standing on the ascent.
