4.7.3 Brakes
Service brake
Operate the service brake (20/12) as required.
Parking brake
The parking brake (20/63) must be activated
when shutting off the machine.
Activate brake only when machine is
at standstill.
Excavator brake
The excavator brake – push the service brake
(20/12) fully through until fastening device
(20/11) locks in – must be engaged during
excavation work.
The pendulum axle is simultaneously
locked with the excavator brake.
4.7.4 Driving on roads
Buckets with a width over 600 mm, ditch-
cleaning buckets/swing buckets with a
width of more than 1,250 mm must be
removed.
Swing upper carriage to travel position and peg
out with upper carriage swing lock bolts (20/21)
TW85 AL – Set to "normal steering" (see
Chapter 4.7.2 Steering)
Boom up until color marking on the slewing
column is covered.
Raise the boom (TPA, CI) completely.
Swivel work device to transport position with
backsight (21/1)
Retract intermediate boom cylinder (TPA and
CI) completely
