• Set dipper stick vertical so that color markings
line up
With clamshell grabs attached, the grab
must be suspended on the pincer tube
(23/1) and closed.
The position of the dipperstick must be
adjusted.
With a front dozer blade installed, the
grab must be removed during driving on
roads.
• Turn in bucket according to color marking
(22/A) above the rocker arm
• Turn in ditch-cleaning bucket according to color
marking (22/B) under the rocker arm, set
horizontal and fasten securely
• Move support legs completely up and secure
support plates mechanically with chain
• Move support plate (option) completely up and
attach removable rear reflector
• Raise the front dozer blade (option) completely
• Switch off the working hydraulics (20/52)
• During driving on roads, the switch for
pendulum axle locking (20/62) must be set to
“OFF”
• Bring the manual throttle (20/16) to idle position
• Attach lighting unit on bucket cylinder (22/1)
and connect to the socket (on upper carriage in
front next to cab) (only as required, e.g. in case
of poor visibility, darkness, etc.)
• Check the function of the direction indicators,
hazard warning lights, horn, low/high beam
• Close the cab door
Drive carefully down gradients, do not
press accelerator pedal down to the stop.
Before switching out of fast gear into the
slow gear, the travel speed must be
reduced.
