5 Working operation of the machine
5.1 General notes
The excavator is equipped as standard with an
"ISO"-control (function of control levers 30/5 and
30/14) on which the following description is based.
If the customer so wishes, the excavator
can be equipped with a special control.
Your excavator must therefore be
checked to see whether or not a special
control is installed.
Incorrect handling may endanger
persons or objects.
When opening or closing the exit barrier
(30/6) make sure that no other control
levers and/or pedals are operated.
Danger of accident caused by
uncontrolled movements of the
machine!
If the exit barrier (30/6) is lifted or the
maintenance ladder (30/24) folded in, all
travel and work functions are
deactivated.
Before commencing excavating work,
memorize the lever controls well
Start at low engine speed when familiarizing
yourself with the controls
Always engage excavator brake (30/12)
Travel direction preselection (30/15) to neutral
position. Working hydraulics (30/52) to “ON”.
During excavation work, the excavator
brake (30/12) and the pendulum axle
locking (30/62) must always be activated.
In addition, support must be provided
with support legs and/or support plate,
but only far enough so that the wheels
still have sufficient ground traction.
Only in this way is an optimal stability
achieved.
Before activation of the "swivel upper carriage"
work function, the upper carriage must be
unlocked (30/21)
