l Resets the IP address to the default 192.168.10.10. Username is reset to default (UserID: ADMIN Password:
ADMIN).
l Deletes the IPMI configuration
l Returns the to IPMI to the factory default setting:
l ip=192.168.10.10
l mask=255.255.0.0
l gateway=0.0.0.0
l Deletes all users except for ADMIN
l Changes the ADMINpassword to ADMIN
l Disables DHCP
l Sets the IPMI to a dedicated non-share port
l Is optimized for security while the IPMI management console factory reset is not
To reset the firmware:
1. Login to CLI.
2. At the dsm prompt, type:
0001:dsm$ ipmi
3. At the ipmi prompt, type:
0002:reset factorydefault
4. When the warning message displays, type:
yes
Do you want to load IPMI factory default? It takes about 100 seconds to load. Warning: IPMI
IP address will reset to default 192.168.10.10 and IPMI users will get deleted. (yes|no)

SUCCESS: Reset to factory default with IP=192.168.10.10 and default username and password
5. After resetting the factory default settings, you must restore the IPMInetwork settings. See "Configuring IPMI
Network Settings" on page148
6. After reconfiguring the IPMInetwork configuration settings, restore the IMPI configuration file. See "Restore the
IPMI Configuration from a Backup File" below
Restore the IPMI Configuration from a Backup File
To restore your IPMI configuration from your backup file:
1. Click IPMI Configuration.
2. Click Choose File and select the appropriate backup file.
3. Click Reload.

To view sensor readings and event logs:

Click Server Health.
